Our Mission

As parents, our commitment to producing a quality natural product is paramount. To keep our honey as close as possible to the nectar bees gather, minimal heat is applied to allow filtering. This ensures a quality honey product is maintained 'From Hive to You', the consumer.

Our History

AB's Honey was established by Queensland Beekeepers. The operation began as a hobby in 1982, and expanded into a Commercial Operation in 1990. AB's remains a family owned and operated business.

Our Location

Capalaba is a bayside, bushland environment suburb of Redland Shire. Our neighbouring city of Brisbane is the capital of Queensland . Queensland is situated on the North Eastern sea board of Australia .

Our Facility

The Capalaba premises have been custom fitted to provide handling and packaging facilities modeled on the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. The pharmaceutical industry standards are higher than current food industry requirements.

Using these advanced facilities we are able to recommend packaging to meet any of your needs from our wide range of packaging options. If you prefer your own packaging and labels we can also accommodate you. Features of facilities include:

Source of Our Honey

AB's honey is primarily gathered from over 600 different species of Eucalypt trees scattered throughout the natural forests of Queensland and New South Wales . These areas contain vast stands of Australian native trees and shrubs, as well as ground flora. Mix with this a climate characterised by long sunny days and a crystal clear atmosphere and you have an environment ideal for the production of a 100% Pure and Natural honey.

Our short mild winter enables the bees to exist without the need for artificial feeding. This ensures that a genuine 100% Pure and Natural honey is harvested. Nature and location of the bees play a significant role in the production of 100% Pure and Natural honey of excellent flavour and quality. AB's Honey products therefore, have a unique health advantage to the consumer.
